The B-Side Project spanking new website will be live soon, featuring updates, news and tracks that have come through the project since 2009. 

The B-Side Radio Show launched on Wednesday 20th January 2012 on www.cambridge105.fm - live streaming available.  This will feature acts and events from all over the UK and further afield.

The B-Side Project will be launching year 2 in March 2012.

The B-Side Project started in 2009 as a UK wide project based around fusing music and providing artists, specifically dance music producers, with additional promotional platforms and opportunities.

Successful and popular remix tracks often encourage interest in original tracks, to the point where an artist or band has found their first break due to an alternative version of their song.  In addition to this, syncing agreements within the advertising, film and gaming industries have provided amazing opportunities for the artists - think of all the Levi's ads and the subsequent success of the tracks used within them.

Throughout the project, original artists are randomly paired with dance music producers, and over the course of one year, combined with various events taking place, the end result is a constantly growing catalogue of exciting new music and partnerships.

The main objectives are;

* To fuse formats of music * To provide a platform for musical talent * To encourage idea exchange with no geographical boundaries * To promote music communities * To provide audiences with different influences

The project will develop year on year, and intends to be a spearheading influence on those artists and producers involved.  It will provide a unique marketing tool for corporate partners and brands, and hopes to make a significant mark on the music industry as a whole.
